Sukkari Date Fruit

Royal Golden Dates

  • Taste & Texture: These are among the sweetest and softest variety of dates, often described as melt-in-the-mouth soft dates. When dried, the dates become chewy and even sweeter, and there is some crunchiness near the stem.

  • Color & Size: Sukkary Dates are famous for their two-toned color and texture. At their base, they are golden and slightly dry, while the rest of their body is brown and soft. They are often referred to as royal dates due to their natural sweetness and golden color.

  • Uses:  Sukkary dates are packed with energy, natural sugars, fiber, minerals, and vitamins. Sukkary dates can be made into an interesting dessert when they're stuffed with cashews and sweet cream.

  • Origin:  Sukkary is a traditional Saudi Arabian date variety originating from the Al Qassim area.

Ajwa Date Fruit

Sacred and Unique

  • Taste & Texture: Ajwa Date are soft and dry with hints of caramel, honey, and cinnamon taste. They pair well with a cup of coffee or tea.


  • Color & Size: Ajwa is typically glossy dark brown to Black in color. They are a little smaller than most other date varieties that is approximately 3 cm in length.


  • Uses:  With each mouthful, you will be consuming a high level of vitamins and antioxidants; improving digestive health, and boosting heart health. Additionally, these fruits are packed with fiber, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Including Ajwa dates in your daily diet aids the body to correct the functioning of the immune system.


  • Origin:   The Ajwa Variety of date fruits is cultivated exclusively in the Al Madinah region of Saudi Arabia. This unique super fruit has been consumed in the Arabian peninsula for thousands of years, with some mentions tracing the date fruit back as far as 4000 BC.

Khudri Date Fruit

Large Chewy Raisin

  • Taste & Texture: The flavor of the Khudri date is moderately sweet and similar to that of a raisin with a caramel aftertaste. The skin of the Khudri date is moderately wrinkled and slightly flaky. They have a soft and chewy texture but not too dry

  • Color & Size: These dates have smooth dark brown color and comes in both small and large sizes.


  • Uses: They are used as snacks and sugar alternative. With Khudri, there are endless possibilities. You can cut them open to be stuffed, use them in baking, or eat as is


  • Origin:   They are cultivated in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The one Odwi Inc will be providing are cultivated in Saudi Arabia.

Safawi Date Fruit

Nature's Energy Bar

  • Taste & Texture: Safawi dates are sweeter and more flavorsome than Medjool dates. Chewiness varies with the date wrinkles: The more wrinkled the date, the harder it is to chew.

  • Color & Size: Safawi dates are characteristically identified by their particular deep black cherry color with hints of brown and consist of medium and long cylindrical fruits.

  • Uses: Safawi addresses a lot of health issues including constipation, anemia, intestinal disorders, and abdominal cancer. They contain nutrients such as calcium, iron, sulfur, potassium, phosphorous, manganese, copper and magnesium have low fat and glycemic load, and are 100% organic and vegetarian with no added sugar

  • Origin:  Safawi dates are often called nature’s own energy bar cultivated in Al-Madina region of Saudi Arabia.
